BUS 208: Human Resource Management
The aim of this course is to provide a strategic perspective on human resource management and to familiarize students with the techniques and methods used in HRM. The course objectives include examining the essential functions and responsibilities of HRM, such as strategic management, job analysis and definition, human resource planning, selection and recruitment, training and development, performance management, and global HRM. As a result, students will gain the knowledge and skills needed to comprehend and evaluate the intricate nature of HRM processes.
ADM 1225: Administration and Organization in Public Context
This course is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the concepts, theories, and practices of public administration and organization including The Old Public Administration, The New Public Administration, Public Choice Theory, and The New Public Management, Governance, Postmodernism. Throughout the course, students will engage in discussions and debates on current issues and challenges facing public administration and organization. They will also be expected to complete readings, assignments, and a research paper related to the topics covered in the course. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of the principles and practices of public administration, as well as a critical awareness of the complexities and challenges involved in managing public organizations.
MAN601: Strategic Thinking and Researches
The goal of this course is to introduce strategic management as a research area. In this course, the historical development of strategic management thinking and research will be explained, strategic phenomena will be defined, the relationship between general management and strategic management will be examined, and the classification of strategic management theories and research will be discussed.
